About this deal
I recently build a new system and had issues with 4 Commander XT's running and showing within the software. Only 1 XT shows within the software. Currently I'm running all QL fans, (6) 140s, and (15) 120s (Push/Pull on (6) 140s and Push/Pull on (8) 120s. PS. If you wish, you could use one of the thermal couplers that came with your CoPro (there are 4 in the box) and tape it near the exhaust of your radiator. This temperature would be in the ball park of your coolant temperature and removes USB connectivity from the equation. This temperature source would be available to the CoPro right from boot time. All that would be required (after installing the coupler itself) is to set the "Sensor source" for your new fan curves to "Temp #1" or whatever ICUE decides to call this thermal coupler's connection to your CoPro. This seems like it should be OK to me, but I was curious how icue would know which fans were specific to the Aio and if it was really OK to connect the case fans to the remaining empty ports (or if the included commander core only had 6 ports for the situation of using 3x push/pull on the 360 aio) feel free to message Corsair.. see if you get the same direct advice I requested and indeed used in my Faq thread
See our list of Windows 7 commands and list of Windows XP commands if you need a command reference for any of those versions of Windows. Ultimately I asked questions prior to plugging anything in as I understood there may be limitations in how I wanted to bend the rules and did not want to risk any damage.. so.. I asked.. got the info.. did the math.. used the splitters where needed,, 4 Commander Pro's in my house and all work fine Corsair usually ships a hub when you buy a three-fan and yes, some of Corsair’s chassis does come with a hub similar to a commander. I recently build a new system and had issues with 4 Commander XT's running and showing within the software. I don't fully understand the whole milliamps vs amps thing. I'm not an electrician. Guess what I'm asking is with those 6 fans they are currently combined with the 'classic' rgb strips, can I safely swap the rgb strips without risking power overdraw. Or is there a place on the commander pro I can see power draw?Okay, I have both, the commander and the light pro, I think. My commander does not look like the one above, one side all fans, the other side is all RGB Hub, the end has the plugin I need for my Corsair AIO cooler.. I also have the light pro. The case came with a third kind, a straight RGB Hub, that is attached to the Light Pro. Can I run two or three nodes? Do I need all three? I do have to run the Hub that came with the cooler because of the end plugin for the cooler. But what problems am I looking at? Reply My first Commander died recently (full shutdown, toasted circuit smell...) and not even 24h after receiving the new one I've already a fan port dead.. (it took more than 1 month to lose my first fan port on the old one) Hi Robert, that’s probably not the commander pro or perhaps there’s a new version I am not aware of.
The Commander Pro's fan headers, like most fan headers, are limited to 1.0A. If you go over that ...The 6 fans on the front and side are connected to the PWM Repeater that is with the 5000D Airflow and atm they are connected to the MB (Strix Z590-3 with an i9 11900k) and using the bios to control the intake, they are also connected to their own RGB hub and Lighting Node.
