I always enjoy Margaret Dickinson's books and what I loved about this one is that you didn't really know how Kathy's story was going to end because you didn't know which man Kathy was going to be with in the end but you just keep hoping she is with her child in the end. I am so glad that Mr Wainwright was such a kind and understanding man as I was initially expecting him to be horrible for some reason but that wasn't the case.
